WP6 – Chemical and bio-activity analysis of halophyte extract fractions and isolated pure components

WP6 will investigate chemical composition and biological activities of whole extracts and identification of interesting compounds and groups of compounds in whole extracts from both dry straw (lignified biomass) and green fractionated biomass of Salicornia europaea, Aster tripolium, Crithmum maritimum. Quantification and biological activity of target compounds (HCAs, carotenoids, and chlorophyll) as well as stabilised compounds.
